Getting help

Most questions come down to one of the five things below. If yours is not here, write to us and a person will answer.

Email us

support@mytriplogix.com reaches the team directly. Include your account email and, if the question is about a specific trip, its name — that is usually enough to answer without a second round trip.

If something is wrong with a book you have already ordered, say so in the subject line. Print problems are time-sensitive in a way the rest are not.

Photos that landed on the wrong day

Photos are matched to your itinerary by the time they were taken and, where the camera recorded it, the place. Two things throw that off: a camera clock set to the wrong time zone, and photos with their location data stripped before upload.

Either way the fix is the same. Open the trip’s Photos tab and move, merge, split or rename anything that landed badly. Your changes are kept — the matcher will not undo them on the next upload. Nothing that fails to match is guessed at; it waits in Unsorted instead.

Inviting people

Collaborators are invited from a trip’s People tab. Invites are per trip, not per account, so someone helping with one trip cannot see the others. Editors can change days, items, expenses and photos; only the owner can delete the trip, manage collaborators, publish it or order a book.

Invite links are single use and expire. If one has gone stale, send a new one from the same tab.

Books and printing

A book is priced live as you build it, and you see the number before you pay. A proof is generated before anything goes to print, and the preflight check reports low-resolution photos, text outside the safe margin and blank pages so you can fix them first.

Plan limits and prices are set out in full on the pricing page.

Your account and your data

  • Export everything — trips, days, items, expenses, captions and your original photo files — from your account. We email a download link when it is ready, and the link lasts seven days.
  • Delete your account from the same place. Deletion asks you to type to confirm and states exactly what will be destroyed.
  • Read what we collect and why on the privacy page.

Common questions

What is MyTripLogix?

MyTripLogix is a plan-to-print travel app: you build a trip itinerary, your photos file themselves against that itinerary as you travel, and the app lays out a printed coffee-table book from the result. Other tools do the planning or the printing — the point here is that the itinerary you already built is what the book is written from, so there is no second project after the trip.

How do photos get matched to the right day and stop?

Each photo is matched on the time it was taken and, when the camera recorded it, its GPS position — a photo taken at 14:20 near the Blue Ridge Overlook is grouped with the Blue Ridge Overlook stop on your itinerary. Groups are named from the matched itinerary item first, the place second, and the time window last. Nothing is forced: a photo that matches nothing waits in Unsorted rather than landing somewhere wrong, and every group can be moved, merged, split or renamed.

Do I keep my original photos?

Yes — the file you uploaded stays exactly as you uploaded it, never downsampled in place or locked in, and it is only destroyed if you delete it, 30 days after you do. The app works from derivatives it generates for display and print, with location metadata removed. Public trip pages are served the derivatives only, never the original camera file.

Who can see my trip?

Only you, until you decide otherwise — trips are private by default and collaboration is invite-only. Sharing a trip publicly means creating a share link yourself, choosing which sections it exposes, and optionally putting a password on it. Location data is never published without you opting in for that trip.

Can I share a trip with someone who does not have an account?

Yes. A share link opens a read-only journal of the trip that anyone with the link can read without signing up. You choose which sections appear — the cover, the day-by-day itinerary, the photo highlights, the places — and every share screen states in plain language what a visitor will be able to see. Share links can be password-protected, given an expiry date, or switched off at any time, after which the link behaves as though it never existed.

Can several people plan the same trip together?

Yes. You invite collaborators by email and they get a role on that trip, so a group can build one itinerary instead of trading screenshots. Someone invited without an account is routed through signup and lands back on the trip they were invited to. How many collaborators a trip can carry depends on your plan.

What happens to my trips if I downgrade or cancel?

Nothing is deleted. A downgrade applies the lower plan's limits at the end of the cycle you have paid for, and anything over those limits becomes read-only rather than being removed — your trips, photos and books stay where they are. Upgrading again restores full access to all of it.

How do I export my data?

Self-serve export is temporarily unavailable while the tool that assembles it is rebuilt, so email privacy@mytriplogix.com and we send you a copy within 30 days — trips, days, items, expenses and captions as structured JSON, plus your original media files. A request made from Account settings is saved and runs when exports resume.

How do I delete my account?

Account settings has a delete option that tells you exactly what will be destroyed before you confirm it by typing a phrase. Deletion locks you out immediately and your content is destroyed 30 days later; until then support can reverse it if you change your mind. Trips you own that other people are collaborating on have to be transferred or dealt with first, because they are not only yours to delete.

What does the printed book cost?

A softcover book is $29.99 and a hardcover is $49.99, each with 20 pages included and $1.50 per extra page. Shipping is passed through at the press's own cost and tax is added at checkout, and you see the full total before you pay. The book is bought separately from your subscription, which covers planning, photo handling and producing the book file.

Do I need a paid plan to try it?

No. The Free plan covers one active trip with 50 photos and two collaborators, and it lays out that trip's whole book — print-ready — so you can see it before you decide anything. Pro adds unlimited trips and books, 500 photos per trip, and the AI captions and suggestions.

Is there a minimum age?

You must be at least 13 to open an account, and 16 in the jurisdictions that require it. MyTripLogix is deliberately not built for children, and the birth date screened at signup is checked and discarded rather than stored.

Does MyTripLogix work on a phone?

Yes — the web app is built for mobile browsers as well as desktop, so you can upload photos from your phone during the trip. A native iOS app with an offline gallery is on the roadmap; there is no Android app planned.
